Can you install a wedge behind the corner mount?

Just purchased a Ring wired plus doorbell which included a corner kit and wedge. Installed corner kit since my steps to porch are to the left of my door. The issue is when viewing my porch for deliveries it does not show enough area below the step into my home to know a package is even on my porch. 

I believe the wedge was designed for this issue but and the directions weren’t very clear for installing both corner unit and down facing wedge to remedy the issue.

Help me out here RING!

Which is installed first the corner bracket or wedge? 

Once you respond ( video link would be great) for helping me I’d like to know the hardware needed l.e. The screws for securing both corner unit and wedge. From what I can tell all the needed screws were not in the kit. Got any spares to send me?

I received my ring door bell with a corner wedge but did not receive the back plate for the RingDoor bell should I be calling RingDoor customer services ?

The Ring Doorbell product is one confusing device. Doorbell 2, 3, 3 plus, wedge, corner - heck. Why can't videos like this just clearly say. - Here is what comes in the box of doorbell X, and here is how to install it. + Other models use X or Y wedge/mount & here is a link to all of them?

Do not buy, the one they send you is missing cut out so you have to unwire and rewire. Plus its also amde of cheap plastic that brakes easy. Find another solution on google great ideal though.

I am returning this garbage, after waisting my time and hurting my back to align this screws to the wedge, they are so short u can only fit one, terrible !!
