Climate activists glued themselves to the frames of two world-famous paintings fir Spanish master Francisco de Goya on Saturday (November 5), the latest in a string of protests targeting artworks across Europe.

Of course this doesn't change anything. Now if they actually cleaned plastic off a beach, as a way to create awareness of their claim, I would be more impressed.

Destroying art doesn't make me listen to their legitimate complaints. It just makes the situation worse and turns people from the very real need to focus our attention on the immediate crisis of climate change. This kind of destructive activism is a messed-up, distraction.
