just to sum this up :)
1) look at your surroundings, if you live in a place where there is no film. Research your nearest city.
2) Research acting classes, even if you think you need to training. DO IT!! Or you can do online classes :)
3) Headshots!! Talk to your acting studio for recommendations. IMPORTANT THAT YOU FIND A PHOTOGRAPHER WHO SPECIALISES IN HEADSHOTS. If you are researching agencies, most of the time they would recommend headshot photographers
5) Have a HONEST convosation with your acting coach, ask where they think you are. 'should I get a demo reel, should I get a agent'?
6) sign up for casting sites, backstage, actors access.
7) Get a demo reel filmed.

I recently started acting 2 months ago when I moved to atl for college, and I fell in love with it. Except for in my class, I don’t know anybody else who’s an aspiring actress, so I am very thankful for you and your advice. It really has helped me a lot. i'm an aspiring actress who has had some types of experience with acting in the past but it's never gone further than acting classes. it was 2020, i was 13 years old, when i found out that i wanted to be an actress in the future. i was scared to tell me parents because i was afraid they wouldn't support me and they would try to direct me in a different path. but in 2022, i decided to tell them so i could get into classes and gain some type of experience. ever since 2020, i act out scenarios from movies that i've watched, everyday. and not because i thought i had to. because i wanted to. which has made me realise how big my passion is. i'm a very shy person and i haven't built up the courage to take classes again but i'm trying my best to gain the courage to go for it. i'm planning to go to university for acting and screenwriting because over the course this journey, i've found my love for screenwriting too. i love acting and i really hope i'm somewhat successful in the future with this dream :)

I've always found acting interesting. I watched the black phone 6 times because most of the actors are around my age and have little to no acting roles, and I find that really inspiring. I've talked to my mom about it and she just brushes it off bc she thinks it's a phase, but it's not I've always really liked movies not bc I just like watching TV and I'm lazy because I imagine myself in the movie and wjat it would be like. plus I personally think I'm a really good actor, I can control my emotions, I can cry easily.

Honestly just this week I’ve been seriously considering acting. I’m 14 and I’m homeschooled, I sing, I can be pretty creative, animals are my hobby, and I just don’t like sports lol. Im just nervous cause I just feel like I wouldn’t be good enough. But thank you so much for this video! My problem is, that I get severe anxiety attacks when I try to attend any kinds of hobby classes. I already tried 2 times this month but it's just REALLY suffocating me whenever I get inside the practice rooms. Also there aren't any acting classes in my city and I'm not allowed to travel to another city alone and i have many interests that fade and come again when I see something that inspires me, so i don't even know if it's really what I want to do
