The difference between target: _top, _parent and _framename

Показать описание
Some of the values of the attribute "target" was initially created in order to manipulate and direct links within the system of frames of the web pages.

There is a confusion with "_parent" "_ top" and "framename", that is for those who are not familiar with the system of "frames", and these values take effect only for frames that are no longer used as before (the tag “frames” and "frameset" are obsolete in HTML5).

target="_self" – This opens an anchor in the same frame.
target="_top" – This comes out of all frames it’s inside, and open the link as the first document in the browser.
target="_parent" – It will open at the top level of this frame if they are within each other.
target="framename" – This will target the exact frame in question.
