I prefer your second advice. I've done 300bupees by just slowing down and pausing between reps for 2 or 3 seconds, the rest time might depend on your cardio. I'm working on pausing every two reps now

When i first started burpees from being a weightlifter the tenacity of the excersise was hardest part i can tell you today iam glad i do 300 a day in the best shape of my life
