Having a conceptual understanding of spiritual enlightenment is not the same as having the experience. 99.99% of people talking about enlightenment are not enlightened. Modern education has taught people to believe, "I think therefore I am". If a person can understand the concept, then it follows that they know it. As a result we have millions of people talking spiritual enlightenment but truly knowing very little about it.

Understanding the concept of the spiritual Self and thinking "I am the Self" is not the same as experiencing what these words are referring to.

Having a conceptual understanding of Self-Realization or spiritual enlightenment is not the same as having the experience of this state.

Hello! Could you tell me why should we seek enlightment in this life that passes so fast if the soul will experience eternal enlightment anyway after it leaves the body?

How can one be so focused on the open empty awareness if one for example needs to be thinking in facing daily situations/activities/issues? Could anyone who is awakened please enlighten me?
