Menendez Brothers Lawyer and Family Prepare for Press Conference to Free Erik and Lyle

The Menendez Brothers’ family and attorney, Mark Geragos, are rallying behind them in an effort to convince the courts to revise their life sentences. Lyle and Erik Menendez’s relatives plan to be outside the Los Angeles courthouse to pressure the judge to reverse their life sentence.

Looks like they are going to get set free, which is pretty crazy. Knowing about the case and watching the documentaries I think manslaughter should’ve been the original sentence and after about 10 to 15 years, they should’ve got out.

Their sentence was life in prison without the possibility of parole. They killed their parents, abuse or no abuse that didn't give them the right to kill two people, of if it was self defense maybe but they killed them behind their backs. So they should not be freed!

Free them!! They’re victims of extreme parental abuse!! You can’t judge them as normal children when they committed these crimes!! The System made a huge humane mistake on their long sentencing what they needed was mental help to help them become normal men!!!! I’d do the same if I had parents like they did!!

If you think about it they don't even need to be resentenced. They should just be let out. They shouldve gotten 22 years. Manslaughter is 11 yrs. They served more than enough time. It's long overdue given the new found evidence and all their cousins who testified 30 years ago that noticed something suspicious about the father and the mother turning a blindeye. Let them go home to their families before Christmas. Since being incarcerated they haven't caused any fights, they haven't killed any cell mate, they haven't part taken in any drug. They've been helping the elderly, talking to victims, and getting their degree. These brothers are not a danger to society. They were scared for their lives and from the moment they were born they didn't stand a chance with parents like that. Justice for Lyle & Erik.

Does anyone find it weird that the person being accused of abuse was murdered? Going to be hard to defend himself after his brains were splattered all over the place. Something to think about.

Let’s not forget the huge injustice when the judge wouldn’t allow crucial and VERY relevant facts into the case in the 2nd trial that resulted in this wrongful conviction and overly extensive sentence, not to mention at the time OJ Simpson had just gotten away with murder, so the DA’s office felt pressure and a lot of scrutiny, potentially hurting their own professional career with 2 high profile cases widely publicized.

They don’t need to be released they killed their parents in cold blood in the most brutal and disturbing way! Not everyone had the best parents that’s why you remember this shall past! And yet the hell up out of there once your 18 or tell someone !! If they let these thugs out I fear for the future! More like them will surface I just don’t see how y’all want people free who are capable of such things man. Smh. Them not telling the therapist is all the evidence y’all need! I think they should remain in jail forever. They could’ve dealt with things differently than killing their parents. Killing someone the way they did makes them belong in prison forever

Is there any proof that they were abused? Even so, there is no excuse for murdering anyone, especially your parents. They belong in prison. You don't take the law into your own hands. No excuse for MURDER.
