I’m ashamed to say I was convinced that they were guilty at the time. I was a kid and had no understanding of s/abuse - especially that it could happen to boys. Now I feel that this was wrong - they very well might have been, and were desperate to get away from their shaming, controlling parents. I hope they are acquitted and vindicated.
