it's nice to see intel is actually serious about the gpu market.

Nice to see Intel making such a strong effort in the mid and low end GPU market

If intel can offer 80% performance of its competitors at 50% of the price, they got me as a customer

I would love to see emulation tests using 16GB A770 graphics card especially on higher end emulators such as RPCS3 & Xenia Canary.

I own an Acer A770 here, one mod that I'm liking to use is CyberXeSS, it overrides DLSS with XeSS, regarding compatibility you need to test by yourself.
Here I used the mod with Horizon Zero Dawn and Hellblade, both worked fine.

I own the LE 770. A large talking point related to these cards has been their frametime graph, as well. I think if you decide to review these again in the future, or Battlemage when they release, it might serve to add that graph to the overlay. I'm glad to see the cards are getting some appreciation now.

One thing to note is Intel is open sourcing their drivers for these graphics chips.

Seriously Intel deserves praise. Competition will only bring greatness.

These cards have come a long way in a short time imo. Really hopeful for what BattleMage can be in 2024.

I just put my a770 into my rig and it’s more impressive than I initially thought so far everything I’ve been throwing at it is taking it just like a champ

Bang for buck, best card out there. I got my 16gb bifrost for £259, the 4090 is costing over £2, 200. Madness

Nice GPU especially at the price point. I don't think that they are there just yet but if I'm on a budget it's a great deal. If Intel released a kick ass SFF GPU I think it would be their best seller at the moment out of their whole lineup for the time being.

It's even nicer to see Asrock doing AMD and intel for GPUs :)

I think this is going in my next rig later this year. Looks solid and I'm just not paying AMD and Nvidia Prices. I'm balling on a budget.

I am still on some kind of Radeon 550 something with 2gb Ram. Now. I dont use it for gaming, other than Minecraft. CPU is a 7'th gen Intel.

People have asked me why I dont upgrade, and the answer is simple. I run fully Linux. No Windows. As Linux is what I am most compfortable with, using as my daily driver. Just the other day, one of my 1tb USB drives got its NTFS corrupted. Windows were unable to fix anything, and actually made the issue even worse. But full on Linux tools saved my aprox 800 gb of personal stuff.

However. I have always been this outcast type, when it comes to computing. As an example, using Os/2 when everyone jumped on the Win95 wagon. And I fell madly in love with Unix Sys-V in 1995. So I am all for ARC770 cards. It is something fresh and looks like something solid, when it comes to my way of

Heck.... I am so my own when we are talking computers, that I build my own ATX form factor Commodore64 from scratch, using a PCB that were invented by a guy in Berlin. All I had to do, was to source parts globally from at least 15 sellers, and then solder the machine on my own. And I modded the C64-Rom in a hex editor.... And now I have one super rare machine. And the only in my country.

Thanks for the review. :)
Would be cool to see how it handles raytracing.

New to the market, and I hope they do well and expand. We need another GPU competitor. I'm happy with my setup now, and they need to be tried and tested and expand their hardware and software. But go Intel!
