I am so happy i ve found your channel! I don't know why we dont (maybe not one😆) have doctors like u in Germany. I'll keep learning so much more just by watching and that gives me the chance to deal with my diabetes type 1 instead of feeling overwhelmed, not capable and looking into no positive future at all. I'll keep on talking to my doc(s) about vitamins and minerals. Sometime they understand and agree, but most of the time they tell me i am too complicated 🥴🤷‍♀️
And i am so very grateful for your work and channel.
Lot's of love to you and everyone who is involved in your team !

Type 1 diabetes. I'm sure that the ketogenic diet is the best and maybe the only diet (or let's say lifestyle) that can normalize blood sugar, which is essential to not having any complications in future. But, this diet need some adjustments when it's come to a diabetic, and more specific informations he/she need to understand.
I'm sure that you are the best who can make a series videos that helps all diabetics to live there live as it should be. "Diabetics deserve a normal life"
Thank you

I'm a type 1 for 25 years. I use niacinamide on occasion at the recommend of a group that was using it to try to reverse diabetes and such. I'm not able to take it as a daily regimen because this sensitizing of the cells in the body is not predictable. When you take insulin the control happens when you can always use say 2 units of insulin for a sandwich or 1 unit for a side dish. With Niacinamide it the sensiticity goes up and down and conflicts with the background insulin. There are hours in the day when it's working and when it's not. You wind up with more to manage. You go walking and you could easily go low then later in the day or the next day it's not the same. I use it mostly when I have resistance or just on occasion. I think it's usable on occasion and as your video states for pre diabetics.
I think as long as the diabetic is exercising and isn't over eating and having to take more insulin with meals, they are getting a healthy result as well with just insulin. Exercise is super important to also pump out the sugars and junk stuck in the capillaries and prevent the extremities, kidneys and eyes from quicker decay.

I do know and have tested myself with B3 (niacin) and it lowers my insulin by fifty points in a few hours after ingesting. I also consume 100 calories of boiled peanuts in the afternoon because they are loaded with B3. Thanks for explaining.

All of my blood tests x-rays and ultrasounds were exceptional with exception to type 1 diabetes reading and c-peptide. I'm raw vegan mostly and the numbers are coming down drastically but I cannot get over constipation. It's not that I'm constipated as much as I'm not going frequently. And lately I've had lots of gas but no bloating.

Loving your informative videos Dr Berg and feeling far more energetic since following your 20/4 IF protocol (even though it's been less than a week!). Please let us know when you're coming to Australia - it's a great place to visit! Cheers Mate:)

I don't see the links below that you mentioned. I would love to see the study on B3 to understand it more. Thanks for this video Dr. Berg.

Nutritional yeast has folic acid. Folic acid (not folate) is not recommended for those with MTHFR issues. Supplements aren’t always as easy as they seem.

Thanks Dr. Berg for the info. Could you look into the benefits of Chromium and Vanadium for type 1.5 / type 2 diabetics. I get most of these minerals from greens and other veggies (raw), but I cannot locate very much info on them and their benefit for type 2 / 1.5. Also, I have been ignorant when it comes to fruit and veggies, for instance, I just learned that eggplant is a fruit, not a veggie as are bell peppers. I eat these fruits a lot. Also, when I eat an entire eggplant, my blood sugars lower naturally.
