Just so you have enough info, the springlocks outside of the movie are much worse because they send sharp shrapnel and animatronic parts into you and at some point your vocal cords are severed, you either die from losing blood or drowning in your own blood as it fills your lungs

As someone who knows way too much about fnaf I do wanna say the springlock failure in other media is way worse and more horrible, you're basically impaled by a lot of pieces of metal and plastic, that same metal begins to crush you in the inside and begins to cut your skin, stretching it as it crushes your bones, william in the books said you won't even be able to scream because you're literally choking on your own blood, and it is a very long death, it is extremely painful and long to die in a springlock suit since it crushes, stretches, cuts and impales your whole body for a long period of time, and William did die very slowly because the souls made sure he didn't die in the process and felt every part of it, not only that but when he finally died he ended up in an eternal loop where he was killed over and over by his demons and creations

7:15 according to the official lore from the books described by william an "springlock failure" is painful but sort of quick death cuz once the springlocks trigger and start to stab and go deep through the flesh and bones the blood will activate the rest while you are unable to scream or ask for help since the springlocks in the chest area already pierce and cut deep into both of your lungs making you die not from the pain of all the injuries and the animatronic parts forcefully merging with yours but from drowning in your own blood until you pass out from the suffocation

To explain the parts in the forest: basically Mike falls asleep a few times and the spirits who possess the animatronics (and are manipulated by Afton) attack him but in the physical world the animatronics themselves come to the office and give him the wounds he got in the spirit world, if you’re able to, get The Silver Eyes, it explains a lot about the Springlocks (mainly for the books and games but it’s fun to compare each universe and how they work) the guy who got his faced mauled by the Cupcake is named Carl, the guy who looked into the kitchen window was his father named Hank, the fanbase used to call Cupcake Carl The Cupcake so it’s a cool Easter egg With Carl killing Carl, also the body with the messed up face in the parts and services room is Carl. The reason Carl’s face is messed up is because the Cupcake has sharp metal blade-like teeth similar to the Nightmare Animatronics in FNAF4 and some others in the series. Hopefully this helped to understand a bit more

1:04 apparently I learned that this scene was supposed to be Markiplier but a scheduling conflict caused to not be able to fulfill it

Fun fact: the cupcake was actually from the original game as chicas little sidekick (though he did nothing) and originally Hank (the guy Bonnie killed) was going to have a guitar stabbed through his mouth and in the novelization it is stated he had his head slammed against the wall. Also Geoff (the guy foxy kills) was going to have his face sliced open with his skull and brain showing. Finally I want you to react to Jurassic Park deaths as some are pretty unique

Okay just to clarify, them "using their fingers" was just a dream, what really happened were animatronics taking him with force using metal arms so they can bring him to the chair with the torture machine
