I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, it has similar symptoms as Marfans Syndrome. When we were kids, my older brother was thought to have Marfans. Due to the severity of injuries that seemed worse than usual, as an adult, I was put through genetic testing & Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome is what was identified. FYI to people suspected of having Marfans, since EDS is relatively unknown by even doctors. It's said Abraham Lincoln had Marfans Syndrome, & we all know he did great things in harder times (respectively)❤

I have Marfans syndrome and so does my son. It presents its self in many ways. I only have some features tall, long limbs and large Aorta. My son has the same features as me but also has the vision issues that are associated with the syndrome

Also don't forget about dislocated lenses. They can almost diagnose marfans from that alone

There are other types of Marian’s Syndrome which don’t present exactly this way. That’s why when you make a clip like this, it shows precisely what people with other Marfan’s Syndrome variants go through in trying to be taken seriously.

I was born prematurely with wonky joints/bones and seeing someone else who aggressively walks on the insides of their feet makes me feel so much better. It’s taken 24 years to see someone else with feet like mine. 😭😭😭
