Don't let them fool you on the hype. I am from North Carolina. It's a great state to retire and get education but don't stay long. There are many homeless people here with degrees.

Complete nonsense…I grew up near this area. Although this area is that affluent as compared to the rest of Raleigh, it is by far way safer than you think. I have lived in Dallas & DC, what’s hood in Raleigh would just be considered low income in most other cities.

Raleigh is not the Raleigh it once was due to gentrification. Trust me, 2 decades ago there was projects everywhere. You drove by one of the last true hoods by Lincoln Park Holiness Church. Don't be fooled tho like any other city. Back in the day, you stayed away from the Southside and near Capital. Back in the day you had Biltmore Hills, Halifax, Chavis Heights (where I'm from), Apollo Heights, Walnut Terrace and other places that are all torn down now. Raleigh went from pretty much all black and Hispanic to all white now

I just moved to Raleigh from Stockton California and keeping it 100. Raleigh is way way better than stockton. I feel bad cuz there’s people I grew up with that never left California so they don’t know how bad California is

Homeless people in tents directly across the rode in front of the Whitehouse. Or drive through the true hoods of DC and let's see which one you make it out of driving around with a camera. Really desperate to make a video I guess. The "hood" in Raleigh is like the nicest part of many other cities. Waste of 10 minutes.
