I have a mouse who visits my apartment... a little one the size of my thumb ! Cool little critter! Did not know Capt kidd was an american...so cool...still reading Arab history :Malak Hifni Nasif the first Egyptian Woman to make public demands for the liberation of women.
The women of Egypt made their entry into national politics for the first time in 1919. Their leader was a woman named Huda Sha'rawi. She and her colleagues organized the first woman's political body in the Arab world the Wafdist(Wafd: delegation) Women's Central Committee and co founded the Egyptian Feminist Union in 1923.
The European powers drew up the boundaries of the modern states of the Middle East as we now know them( with the significant exception of Palestine).
