Pastor Doug, I’ve read your book, and I’ve heard you give your testimony so many times in the past. Never have I seen you become emotional and it moved my heart. I’ve been going through some emotional struggles for months. I’ve been an SDA for 30+ yrs. I want to give myself fully to Christ but It’s always been frightening to think about what that means. But, then I’m often reminded of Jeremiah 29:11 and I know that God means no harm to me, he calls me to do it for my own good and for others. You show me that everyone of us can be a worker for God and he has a plan for each one of us. Thank you for sharing this once again! Your testimony always reminds me that God wanted you and fought hard for you! May he continue to bring many more souls to Christ through your valuable ministry!

A genuine Christian does not look at the temporal but at the eternal. All the wealth, fame, and power we can have in this life means nothing and are as dung and worthless in God's eyes.
