We went to a rooftop in Central London to take some measurements from a 5G transmitter.

I knew they were gonna say it's perfectly safe before I even watched the video

Bad test... 5G is not Isotropoc, like 3, 4 were... This means when you get or make a call it directs radiation to your specific direction, beaming you (non isotropic), and not spreading evenly all around from the emmiter (Isotropic)... So the specialist should be doing a call with a smartphone on His pocket to test how 5G works when it is supposed to act (during a call or data view) and not a quiet sitting anthena (how much you guys were paid??? )

"recommended safety level" - recommended by the same people who want to sell you this devilish technology

Safety level for what amount of time? 24/7/365 ? You can't just say safety level without specifying the time factor !

This test was at best extremely superficial. Radiation exposure and poisoning is a cumulative long term process and whilst it may have limited negative effect on human health (unless you literally stand right next to one of these masts) - it most definitely does have a negative effect on the broader environment and biosphere. So BBC why not discuss the effects of electromagnetic radiation on the environment - on insects, bird populations and certain plant species for example? As the BBC is well aware there is now conclusive scientific evidence that wireless technology is one of the main contributing factors in the exponential population decline of these species. So why not discuss this - or perhaps you have too much vested interest in the technology?! If you think this is just some social media nonsense read these articles :

Here are just some of the research reports (from reliable sources) that are in the public domain. Many have not been released for public consumption or have been removed since their findings are hugely damaging to the communications industry - an industry that's worth literally trillions of dollars. Note that very few major media pick up and run with this story - need you ask why? It's time this critical issue is brought to the fore.

These guys working for the BBC would of lost their jobs if they said anything otherwise!

funniest of all are all those cigarettes smokers, concerned about and campaigning against 5G cancer potential...

It's not the strength of the frequencies, the long term effects should not be overlooked.

But was it set to 10 GHz or 300 GHz? This can be turned up or down anytime with 5G.

yes but 5g street lights are right outside peoples bed rooms and that will fry them over night

My bigger concern is that phones that support 5G will be in our pockets

All these people saying how dangerous RF radiation is, while typing on their computer inches away from a WiFi transmitter, and probably a Mobile phone on the desk nearby.

If your that worried, switch them all off.

That cancer experts body language was way off... notice him looking up and to the right when he talks about the impact of 5g and ionising radiation

No mention of affect on birds, insects, mammals that rely on the earths em fields

In the US, the safe limit for continuous exposure is 1.2 W/m^2. In this video, they are referring to a rating for brief exposure, like 30 minutes. Also, this does not consider a busy area saturated with towers in addition to wi-fi hotspots.

In short, EMR pollution in general is the concern. And, as said in this video, the devices around you are a larger concern, but the number of devices and towers are all contributing to EMR pollution that is worth keeping an eye on.

I'd love to be the guy who switches 5G on and runs like hell, the only problem is I can't think of anywhere to run to that is safe?

Everyone scared of 5G using their 4G appliances to tell everyone else 😂

Absolute bs, the frequency cant drop by 500 in 3 meters lol, thats a lose of 175 frq a meter yh right. Fake af.

This is all lies. We have been testing them for 3 years and there 6 times over leagal limit 300M away

Note: the test was carried out while the antennas were Off.
