Can 5G radiation actually make you sick, harm your health, or even kill you? Is 5G dangerous? Is 5G safe? Some interesting reports have emerged - we're here to deep dive 5G connections and wavelengths, and its potential effects (or lack of effects) on your body. 5G is rolling out to smartphone users across the world offering unprecedented speeds and connectivity but there are some concerns it could have adverse effects on our health. So what does the evidence say? Will 5G make us sick -- or is it a conspiracy theory that’s getting out of hand? CNET Science Editor Jackson Ryan takes a look at the current evidence.

5G still has a LONG way to go before it hits the public, and not all the research is out yet. Still, we'd love to hear what you think! Tinfoil hat theories and all ;)

This video loaded in 3 seconds. 4G is good enough.

It's probably being installed while the world is on lockdown

I'm an engineer who has worked in the health field for a long time. I felt this video downplayed th risk of EMR - electromagnetic radiation.
For instance, it only spoke of Ionizing radiation. But radiation does not have to knock electrons off of atoms to cause damage. Non- ionizing radiation can interfere with biological processes too.
He criticized the lab rat study twice for subjecting them to extreme radiation. There is a valid reason for using higher doses of radiation, namely, the scientists would have to wait for years for results if they used low doses. Almost all studies are done using higher concentrations than humans would be exposed to.
I don't know what the dangers are because I'm not a researcher, but I do know when biased reporting is being done. and issues are not taken seriously (e.g. the Presenter put on a tinfoil hat). And, by the way, security/spying is such a major issue that most Western countries don't allow the Chinese company Huawei to supply 5G products for fear of espionage (as well as competitive reasons).
We need studies that are not funded by the industries that have a stake in the outcome. I don't know CNET's funding source, but I just lost respect for them.

I love how people are saying ‘trust the scientists..’ who do you think pays their salary 🤡

Why are they being installed during a Pandemic? Seems a little strange to me.

So cell phones are unsafe but we’re expected to believe cell phone radiation is safe?

I don't need 5g I need my dad to come back from the grocery store already

4g is good enough we need to stop being greedy for more

Notice how this video conveniently doesn't mention cell damage?

Did anyone consider life expectancy has decreased and cancer increased...

So, how much did the 5g consortium pay Cnet to give it a pass?

not a very deep dive..check the military use of this technology'.

You come off like all those doctors that said smoking was healthfully beneficial back in the day.

No insects on my windscreen for the last few summers ? Strange.

"There's no link between cell phone radiation and cancer" Ok buddy ok buddy.

I don't think it will make you sick. I KNOW it has the potential to make you sick. I used to work in that industry designing 2 to 11 gHz. point-to-point radio links. The broadcast power of our antennas at that time was only 5 watts. We could send/receive at a distance of about 30 miles since parabolic antennas focused the beams like light at both ends. Everyone knew not to walk in front of the antennas on the top of buildings since it was microwave frequencies. The 5G phones are not the big problem since they are generating only about 3 watts. 5G uses much higher power levels to broadcast on the towers, about 1000 watts. Yes it is an omnidirectional broadcast pattern but that power level is not safe when you are in close proximity to the antennas. This video is extremely misleading and does not include all of the facts about 5G EMF on the human body. The people that produced this are attempting to boost investing in 5G networks so they can get it off the ground all over the country. Then they'll likely sell it all to another entity to avoid future lawsuits. Your immune system will not work properly when exposed to high levels of microwave EMF.

This is along the lines of doctors recommending smoking in the 50's
Nothing to worry about, honestly

This video would prob tell you microwave is safe while using it with the door wide opened
