A nice, respectful interview.
I stutter when I'm really nervous or stressed. Folks who see it the first few times I think that I'm trying to be funny and start laughing, or giggling, or chuckling, or smirking. When I tell them it wasn't on purpose, they tend not to believe me. Once they realize that I'm totally serious, it's no longer an issue for either of us.

I know how she feels, I have the same kind of thing, only twitching at random moments due to severe trauma. But I get how she feels so offended, cause it just shows how ignorant people, society, actually are. BUT, we appreciate it so much when someone actually care enough to take ACTUAL notice.
