Im still sad, I decided to quit my job yesterday, I distance myself from those toxic people. I got out as soon as possible, these past few days, I was really stressed because I didn’t know what to do. I hope the decision I made yesterday is right. God bless us all!🙏🏻

I've never regretted walking away from a job that under paid me and under appreciated me!! Sometimes financially it hurt, but I kept moving and finding better jobs and better people to work with!! Eventually you figure out what you don't want to do!!! Life is to short to be miserable at a

I absolutely agree. I did 16 years. Retired 4 years early (17 months ago)to preserve what was left of my mental health. I stayed for the same reasons this lady did, but I'm paying dearly for it now 😢

I did the opposite! I left a couple of stable jobs, in different occasions, because I was bored after several years. Then i moved as far away as possible from my family cause I wanted to experience life by myself. But looking back, I regret it because I lost precious moments with my parents and sisters and my emotional stability. Now I'm older and wiser and know better. I also see things totally different from my 20's and 30's. I used to love Nirvana and Metallica, and other crazy bands back in the 90's. Nowadays, I've become mellow and enjoy romantic music, chacha, bossa Nova, Italian songs, drinking coffee, rainy afternoons, and just hanging out with family and old friends! I've been to Latin America and Europe but this time I'm planning on going to small town Italy with the family, away from the crowds and tourist traps! I guess quality time is another stage in life! Enjoy your parents and siblings and your job while you're still active, especially in these crazy times we're living!

Don’t leave and then start searching while you have no income. That’s stupidity. When that feeling of leaving sets in, begin the search for a better role. Always have back up.

During the crazier Covid times I thought I was crazy to leave many jobs too soon, but today I don't regret anything. We're all meant to be happier doing what we want to do. It definitely is good to have something first before you leave, but I was lucky to already have other income and support to sustain. I hope we all have freedom soon!

I agree I worked a job for 13 years & it was the worst job ever. I left a very cozy spot to take a position that was horrible & couldn't get out of. Not worth it. I left with no job lined up & found work elsewhere. It has been tough but I'm alot happier.

Thats true... My brother used to work in a bank and earned 12k a month. After a year he left and started a business, now he earns alot more than he used to. Though it was hard for him financially, my parents supported him through it!

Noticed that jobs are mostly the big regrets 😕

I’m 50. Same job for 27 years and counting. I can retire from my current one in five years. My “plan” is to go to school and start another career when I retire from this job. I placed the word plan in quotes because I’m old enough now to realize that if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans. Man proposes and God disposes. The meaning behind this is that while it’s definitely a good idea always to have a plan, know it’s just that: a plan. In reality, none of us ever really know what’s going to happen.

Definitely don't stay on a job that you don't love nor like, it's a daily torture for you.
