Roundup On My Lawn? | Spot Spraying

Roundup can be used on dormant warm season lawns to kill all types of weeds. Roundup generally kills every kind of grass that it come into contact with, but when warm season lawns go into winter dormancy its a great opportunity to use half a dose of roundup on your lawn to get rid of weeds.

In this video I show you how to mix the roundup and spot spray the the lawn with a 5 litre hand sprayer.

Great video, Ben! I'm in Texas (Dallas). You probably don't have it down there, but I just spot-treat any weeds (on my in-season/growing St Augustine grass) using Roundup for Southern Lawns. It kills the weeds, but not the grass.

Why not use Weed n Feed? So it won't harm your grass no matter it's green or not.

There are like a TRILLION alternative strategies to treat weeds in your lawn, dormant or not, warm season grasses or not that don't involve using glyphosate. Seriously. If lawns aren't your thing, hire someone that knows what they're doing.
