I'm a new(ER) home owner. 3 seasons ago we bought a house and the yard was a mess and I did my 3/4 step and it looked ok toward the end. The second season the same and the results maybe a little worse due to a bad new neighbor imo. This season. Bad!!! I'd say I'm almost 50% weeds ( mostly dandelion) so I'm asking when do I quit and start over? I've wasted hundred maybe thousands in spreads and treatments and aerating and even dethatching but still very very very bad(can send pic) do I tear it out?

Also, I heard from a landscaper that if you mix the glyphosate with water, you need to apply the mix promptly. Water will hasten the breakdown of the glyphosate, within one or two days.

When i first moved into my house the yard was pretty much dead and nothing but dirt patches all 16, 988 sq ft. Once i fixed the sprinkler system and started watering... weeds began popping up everywhere. The dormant st. augustine finally came back and i basically hand pulled weeds every weekend getting a walmart bag size of bull thistles each time. After doing this for about two years the yard is weed free and looks awesome.

I just spot sprayed a bunch of my crap yard to start fresh. I tried to dig out all the weeds, but it would of taken months. So I crop dusted them with round up! So long suckers!!! Hello awesome grass...

Does glyphosate cause cancer? You should do a video on it. Is it only dangerous to farmers? Is it only dangerous when applied to the food we eat? Or it’s dangerous to an average homeowner? Round up getting sued left and right.
