sad to report this method no longer works. Folders and files have changed and following this guide doesn't work. i get ror2 is old news now but posting this comment for others so they don't waste any time.

so i installed a character mod and I got to the start screen but when i click singleplayer I just get an endless loop of the background of the start screen?
