This video does help but a heads up if the mod itself manually downloaded does not come with two files one being the descriptor you have to find it and open it up in notepad. thats going to throw a lot of ppl off when they watch this video.

Im able to manually add mods to a custom playset, but the thumbnail doesnt appear. I put the .png under "Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\mod\", and then into whatever the name of my mod folder is, along with the core files. Did I do something wrong?

Hi. See my problem is that I don't get a launcher when I run the game. It just opens straight away and I don't know how to get to mods to work otherwise..

So this worked for me. For one mod. How do I install multiple mods? They all have a file called "descriptor" leaving them in seperate folders doesn't work it only workds with one mod at a time.
