I just got a 3050 6gb dell g15 with. Ryzen 7 using their 4th gen architecture. I got it for 500& from Best Buy… it runs for ight and call of duty at 120 fps. Super happy with it

I really learnt a lot about two GPUS looking at real life difference rather than all the paper theoretical based statistics. But it seems the RTX 4050 is quiet powerful comparitively to the 3050. I was thinking of getting a laptop with the 3050 but now I'm getting second thoughts. Why all of these makes me so confused! haha I don't if it is just me but nowadays with all the comparison and data in hand it is very hard to purchase a particular product from the technology market.

6 gb vram makes rtx 3050 laptop performance increase in lastest games, but rtx 4050 is better with dlss 3 FG, also with 4 nanometer

I agree with OP. 4050 is better performing and in future games Dlss 3 FG will make it future proof atleast for 60fps Story games.

This actually pisses me off, i bought an ASUS TUF laptop in 2021, the RTX 3050Ti was listed as "RTX 3050Ti 6GB" on Amazon, I got massively baited by Amazon

Hadnt bought a laptop for about 10+ years, also didnt know about Ryzen laptops having better battery life

It's not a massive deal because I only play RDR2 & BO3 on it anyway, but I was frustrated

My whole point of this mini rant was that the 3050/Ti should've been 6GB (if not more) in the first place since it's an RTX GPU anyway

just my personal opinion .... i like Nvidia . bbuuuut with al these new ones out its seems that they have really pushed something that dose not give much for the gamer . i have rtx 3050 ti / 3060ti gaming pc's they do we ll . i was going to buy a 4050'4060ti to replace what i have but then everyone is and has been saying how bad they are since day 1 . so i will wait for now . Question: The 4050 performance is below that of the 3050 in AC Valhalla? But in the gameplay footage, the 4050 seems to outperform Valhalla, is there something I missed out, or a typo error?

A plague tale: requim is hitting the 100w-102w range on the 4050 so its either that the laptop has bugs for the rtx 4050 140w version or that nvidia drivers are causing the 140w rtx 4050 not to work properly.
