As retired military (Logistics) and DoD civil service, I could listen to Chris Beck for hours. He should author a few books and be another Jack Carr. Wishing Chris Beck health, happiness and prosperity

This guy is on the money. I don’t mind that he’s jumping around. He is off the charts bright.

I remember being in the marine corps infantry in 05 time frame and them telling us about these exo skeleton suits. They were designing to help us take stress off our knees and give us more armor. Crazy to see this

I’ve never heard anyone say they can’t talk about something before where it actually sounded like they legitimately know something… not just making s**t up. The way he said “I’m gonna leave that one alone” actually gave me chills.

Chris has led a bloody chequered career. All this stuff that he has talked about over the course of his interviews has left me feeling... I don't know...insignificant? He has done stuff that I can only dream of doing.

I love that he realized he was smack talking RDJ and immediately felt bad. What an actual wholesome moment.

The problem with people who understand or know something at a high level have a hard time explaining things to those who don't. I was 12 and my genius uncle couldn't understand why I couldn't pick up calculus, even though he went over an equation with me.

In rhe Army we had a saying, "so smart they're stupid" when referring to someone really smart with shit communication skills.

"Schutzhund " - I love it. My wife (I call her the drill sgt of canines as she is a beast of a dog handler) and she told me that they use German words for all the "heavy commands" as this guest said.

... the beetle wings flying machine. Look up Victor Grebennikov. He was a Russian entomologist. He deeply studied insects and developed a flying machine from his studies.

This video should be retitled, “Navy SEAL almost discusses the iron man suit.”

Shawn, thanks for breaking these up. I saw 6 hours and was going to scroll on by. Although I prefer continuity, at least I can get through this 15 minutes at a time.

I served in the mil and work for the DoD, everything this guy just said about wasting money, bureaucracy destroying results, etc is 110% true. I think private sector would have infinitely better results if govt funded and not allowed to interfere and add their red tape.
