Mark Lee's mother "mama Lee" is a true inspiration and patriot! She will gladly interact with the public or anyone who wants to know something about Mark and the respect people show her is very awesome

I was in a CAG unit for 11 years. He is speaking straight facts!!! Going to war is easy, coming home and being a father and a husband is the hard part. Much RESPECT brother. I wasn’t a SEAL, but being a Ranger has the same amount of stress

Eli wanting to help others reminds me of a quote “A Hero is someone willing to help others in his or her best capacity.”

As an Enlisted Operator & later an Officer in EOD, my GREATEST fear was taking a team into a high threat area or combat and one of the guys getting killed. The fear was driven by the fact I would, one day, have to face the family.
Fortunately, the worst was some slight injuries. It was a blessing from God as far as I am concerned.

I was blessed to meet then get to know Chris Kyle. He and Mark Spicer got involved with the Law Enforcement Swat Sniper community. We were at a conference & competitive shoot in the Tampa area quite a number if years back. One evening the three of us were at a Tilted Kilt restaurant and the drinking began. Good grief, we put the beers down. The next morning I was up & at em for the days conference presentations. Chris & Mark were not around until almost noon. When I saw them they were back slapping me saying what a great drinker I was. They were still as green as I felt. Two of the greatest guys I have ever been blessed to be friends with. Chris's death was a tremendously sad day for our community.

I hate misguided grief. There is always that one person who just can't control their emotions, Eli wasn't the enemy.

The Anbar was no joke. Proud to have served among so many greats. I am fortunate to have survived it all.

Shawn. Love the show man. Not sure if it’s you or the YouTube that keeps unsubscribing people.

Love hearing the stories. I’m a disabled vet suffering with ptsd and watching your shows gets me out of my head. Thank you.

I listen to your podcast daily and love listening/watching these clips. I served in the Navy from 05-13 and enjoyed every part of it. The hardest part for me was leaving my daughter when she was 4. When I left for boot she whispered in my ear are you going to get those bad people from TV? She watched the news with me that morning. Currently I deal with issues from my service, injuries, metal issues too.

That one in IB on Palm too. It wasn't 'a shot & a beer before you go home.' It was a 2nd job.

I was there for this. The SEALs did right by him in Ramadi. Things were different for a time. The city of Timmean (not sure about the spelling) across the river from Shark Base
