Looking back I feel like I missed my calling to become a SEAL. Chose to be a nuke instead. I really respect all the SEALs out there. Ultimate badasses. I was on a sub with ASDS so we had SEALs on board occasionally and they were a completely different breed.

Lowering standards would be heartbreaking. These are our BEST war fighters, they literally give everything they have for their teams and country. Not only would it be a slap to the face of those SEALs who've died but it'd endanger our national security.

Before you enter the Navy you should know that "SEAL" is always fully capitalized. It's an acronym, not a marine mammal.

Well put together.  The sacrifice, dedication, mental and physical hardship these guys put themselves through to quietly keep this country safe is beyond any sacrifice that most could or would be willing to endure.  They are to be respected, commended, and thanked for what they put on the line for the safely of those who will never know them, meet them, and their sacrifice allows us to even ridicule them.  God bless the platoons and God be with you each and every day.

I was asked in bootcamp, did I want to be a SEAL? I was like sure. The SEAL said do you want me to beat you everyday, push you and PT everyday? I said No. He said what your rate? Air Traffic Control. Him Stick with that, you'll make more money and have more fun.

Then do it. Like master chief said, everyday you have to earn it. Be motivated, determined, and a leader no matter what you are doing, even in the little things. That is what sets these men apart dedication and an I will NEVER quit attitude. Learn all you can about the Teams, read books! Dick Couch is a former SEAL who write about SEALs, The Warrior Elite, The Finishing School, Down Range, read those. And set your self apart, be the best and be humble about it. I'm just me, but I will not stop.
