Not always the case. I was born with a lazy eye and can switch between what eye I mainly look through, and yes, that means technically both are lazy.

guys please go get a check up. I checked up my eyes and the doctor scolded me for not coming sooner. I am strictly told to wear glasses and those glasses are thick lmao. My eye does not get lazy anymore but when I put off my glasses it gets lazy again.
She said that the glasses won't really cure my eyes but it will prevent it from worsening. The doctor also said that if I wouldn't have checked my eyes I would've gone blind in next few years.
I don't want any of y'all to go blind so please go consult about it to the doctor.

I developed a lazy eye because I got a parasite near the optic nerve. With my optic nerve weakened, my left eye sometimes loses touch with reality and just does it’s own thing to the side. With a little “hey your eyes messed up” and a blink, I’m all good

I heard it's a neurological issue. The eye does favor the better one and relaxes the other to reduce strain.
