Enable External Sharing for the SharePoint Site and Libraries

In this video, we will talk about the External Sharing for the SharePoint Site Collection or SharePoint document library.

In Microsoft 365, we don’t have External Sharing enabled by default. We need to enable External Sharing for our tenant. For that we need to open the Microsoft 365 admin center and enable the External Sharing for the Guests.

Once External Sharing is enabled, we need to turn on the External Sharing for the SharePoint Folders. After that go to the Site Collection level setting and Enable Sharing for the external users.

Now, users can able to share the specific files with the external users in SharePoint Online.

This is how, user can enable the External Sharing for the specific Site Collection.
