The pronunciation is hodiern icelandic combines with hodiern faroese.
Old norse phonetic is more gutural, slow and clear, vikings are tactical, strategical, reflexives, opportunists, the phonetics its other.

This is a formal version of modern day icelandic, they have a different pronounciation then danes, swedes and norwegians would have 1200 years ago
