Beautiful ...sounds lovely. While listening to it...it reminds me MOST of Icelandic. Can all the different Scandinavian language speakers understand it I wonder?

I never heard someone speaking old Norse . But it feels very familiar to me as it was my native language

As an English speaker, I actually did understand quite a bit. I couldn’t make out a whole sentence, but I could make out individual words. I was able to do this both because of similarities with English and the fact I have a little knowledge on Scandinavian tongues.

For The Legend Of Zelda fans out there, I believe that the Hylian language would definitely sound like Old Norse language. I just think it sounds more fitting and appropriate.

I picture a group of Swedes or Danes or Norwegians sitting around chatting with this language it’s so fascinating to think of the ancient Norse can’t get enough of it
