Why I absolutely love is on the right, there is a table with two men, and one does the same thing as Thomas and runs away, abandoning the other. However when he returns, the other friend laughs and that’s the end of it. Because the nature of friendship allows for such a thing. But in a family, a father cannot abandon his kids. It’s a perfect contrast.

I was more amazed by the filming technique used rather than the philosophy. 1st time watching a disaster scene completed in a single long shot entirely taken with a fixed cam without any kind of camera movement & to my surprise that makes it preety realistic. Wow.
