This version is a bit weak because the dad could just say: Why didn't you run away? I thought you would follow me.
The original one had the dad sitting on the same side with the son and had the chance to carry the son but he just pushed him away.

The original is so effective with the locked off camera angle, minimal dialogue and pacing of the scene that give off such a strong feeling of intensity and none of that is here. It’s just a complete miss which is strange since the original is RIGHT THERE

O tomhle celém je film. Blbí amíci, zůstali tam sedět. Vymaštěný jak okurky. Ten týpek by jako stejně nikoho nestihl pobrat a při zásahu větší laviny by stejně skončil, jako oni. Hlavně, když už vidím lavinu proti sobě, najdu dutý prostor, v tomto případě onu hospodu, kde se schovám a nečekám, jak lavina naroste. Viděl jsem laviny vzdálený spousty kilometrů, co vypadali, že se ani nedostanou na půl ohromně dlouhé cesty k turistům, ale dostali, narostli a přejeli celá zelená údolí a zasypali je. Tohle je opticky neodhadnutelný.

This is a real-life situation which will end up in 2 ways:

1- die because of others' stupidity as they are watching the avalanche and doing nothing but...watching.
2- being called a coward for not waiting stupidly and dying with them.

I would say both ends suck.

Uma avalanche causa um mal estar e conflito entre os dois.E devido ao comportamento impensado do marido nesse episódio, a esposa chata, vai até o final do filme, torturando psicologicamente o marido de coleira, sem trégua!
Haja paciência para tantos diálogos ao redor do mesmo tema!

We need Avalanches in Videogames like Sonic Spyro Rayman and Legend of Zelda and others because it would be awesome to see something like that happening with the main characters trying to outrun the avalanche with the Avalanche Music from Balto.
