Imagine being the guy today who traded a Hemi Cuda in on a compact car when the gas crisis came.

2:40 the old challenger is a 72-74 even though they claim it to be a 70, which never had the mandated 5 mph bumperettes on the front and rear of the car, plus you can see the sad mouth grill peaking out from behind the fender.

Just hearing how much people spent to buy these cars make my pockets sad

There’s actually 12 71 Hemi Cuda convertibles not 11. Tom Lembeck has found and purchased a Winchester grey export vehicle in France.

You know that you gotta badass machine when chev dealer and vette collector etc, Rick Hendrick wants a demon so bad, that he outbid everybody to get his hands on one and you gotta love that if your a Mopar enthusiast LOL 👍🏼. Most of my Mopars have been B body cars, other than 70 duster & 74 challenger and didn't really happen on purpose. But I've always loved the E bodies a lot as well, and especially the 71 Cuda in PCP or hemi orange paint 🧡💜 👍🏼

The blue 71 HemiCuda. Was at the Mopar Ponderose. In Jordan, Mn. a 4 or 5 years ago. The new owner turned downed. A offer of $5.1 Million, back then. But it has sold since then.

What are you talking about? The 043 2008 Challenger isn’t B5 blue! Richard Petty’s cars weren’t B5 blue! The color Mopar had is Basin street blue and although its been called Petty blue it isn’t. The Petty blue is a secret custom mix.

The blue 71 Hemi Cuda was once a Denver car that I worked on. Jay the owner bought it in 1979 for 5, 500 dollars, it was once raced and was all in pieces. He didn’t have the original motor but found it a few years later. He sold it in 1987 for 50, 000 to Russell

MOPAR OR NO CAR . i love the history of Chrysler muscle cars . The engineers were very talented back in the day with just scratch pad and slide rulers to create the HEMI motors . In 1969 Dodge comes out with the Charger Daytona and Plymouth followed in 1970 with Super Bird which both ran in NASCAR tracks well over 200 mph, thats really said a lot back in 1970 . I've always was enthusiastic about the wild Mopars.

My dad had a 71 Cuda hdtp with the 340 and 3 speed manual, painted In-Violet with black interior. Though sold in 1976, dad had all the paperwork, which I sent to Glover for a breakdown. Though no one has any idea where that car is nowdays, according to the report, as optioned with Sure Grip 3.23 gears, 15 inch rally wheels, quick ratio manual steering, manual disc brakes and factory a/c, it was 1 of 8. The prices some of these cars are getting is astounding!

There was a triple-white 1971 Challenger with a Hemi 4 speed, built and sold with French specs and text on all the gauges and literature. It was shipped to and sold in
