These are the kind of videos many people prefer for buying a car

My 2004 Sienna has delivered 200, 000miles and is still running smoothly. I don't know of any vehicle that's more reliable.

The man has a great voice for radio, narration, voice overs

Well now I look silly for choosing the Honda Odyssey over the Kia Sedona. 3 years of owning it and I already had trouble with the transmission and electrical.

After being a Honda lover for many years I rented a Kia Sedona and fell in love with it so even If some want to call it a granny Vanni or a mommy missile I don’t care I still love it

I owned a 2014 Honda Odyssey, and the van was almost trouble free for 130k miles. Aside regular maintenance, I have only replaced 2 parts: the evap solenoid valve at 105k miles and one of the ignition coils at 90k miles. Unfortunately, my van was totaled after a 1/2ton pick truck rammed onto us on the highway. My buddy has a 2013 Sienna - 365k miles. He had to replace the AC compressor and struts on the lift gate. He had no other issues. IMO, the Sienna is number 1 minivan and Honda is the second best - I do not care about the other minivans.

I have dodger grand caravan Base model 2012, I have put 165k miles on that with original transmission, just changed front breaks and shockers, other than it is working just as same. I am happy with that. But I love your videos. And thanks for giving another option as Sedona.

I bought a new 2013 Grand Caravan 'Crew' & NO problems with it in 7.5 years. It even has the original battery. Original tires replaced at 70, 000 Km & brakes at 80, 000 Km. I wax it twice a year & since the 2013 looks exactly like the 2020 many people think mine is new--LOL. BTW, it still gets 35 MPG at 90 Km/Hr & 30 MPG at 110 Km/Hr with it's 283 HP V-6. It cost at least $10, 000 less than Honda & Toyota vans with the same options--Yah I know those vans are good. The T & C van outsells all other vans combined in Canada & it's built in Windsor Ont BUT Chrysler is discontinuing it in 2021 & replaced it with a 'basic' Pacifica model with the same A-1 engine as my 2013. I've owned numerous new vehicles for 60 yrs including 2 Toyota's & 3 Honda's & this van has been just as reliable as those vehicles.

Thank you Dave for all the videos you do. I enjoy every one of them. Especially these. I get consumer reports magazines every month. Not everyone cares about reliability and such. Thank u. God bless ya.

What about reliable vans under $5.000 and $10.000 Thanks 💕

Lol the Honda Odyssey came DEAD LAST according to consumer reports. Transmissions keep failing over and over again and other problems.

I'm a grand caravan fan but yeah the Pacifica sienna sedona are actually pretty good looking too 💪

I know a few people who had their Caravans die within 6 months. Culprit was the transmission.

I have a 2013 toyota sienna and it has 131, 000 miles and its still running good and it still has a very smooth sterring wheel after all these years

The most reliable vehicle I have come across is my 2006 Ford Freestar. Never had a single problem. A friend of mine has a Chevy Astro. The Astro had to have a new transmission installed. Then it had a problem with the rear axle needing replacing. A couple more people I know went the Chrysler route, and both had transmission issues. They all look at mine, and say, "How lucky you are you got a good one." It is now 2024, and I still have the Freestar.

Top three mini vans were Asian companies.

I have a suspicion that minivans might tend to be more neglected when it comes to routine maintenance.

Bought a 2020 sedona ex last year. Tested same day and roads as a sienna which costed 6k more. We literally thought the windows were down a bit in the sienna it was noticeably louder going down the road vs the sedona and didnt feel as solid as the sedona either. Easy choice.
