Switched my partners dog to raw over a year ago, he'd already spent hundreds on trying to find why one had bad skin and stank. I put him in live yogurt at first because i think he had yeast infection, for years! That helped. Then transitioned him to cooked mince and chicken, then raw. Skin is now perfect, hair grew back and doesn't stink anymore. ✊ Vets are as bad as docters...

YES! Our dogs went carnivore when we did!
I’m done with losing my beloved furry friends to cancer!

Thank you for highlighting this today. Before I changed my American Bully's woe to carnivore, he suffered MAJOR skin issues. All cured after eating only meat and eggs.

Hey Jen and Kerry! We feed our dog, Ammo, carnivore too. We hunt, so he gets venison for the most part. We also put eggs in.
For treats, we slice and dehydrate liver and hearts. He loves them !!!!

My dog (nearly 8) and cat (3) grew up with fresh chicken with bones. Only my cat (a lady . . . ) does not like it. I put for her the minced chicken 33 grams and 20 grams of fresh salmon and grind it again all together in my food processor and I grind it for her like a paste and that is what she likes and I like to please my cat ;-D !!!
Keep on loving your animals!
With much love from the Netherlands!

We started our GSD mix on raw food as a puppy so she learned how to chew bones properly.

Large breed dogs benefit from raw meaty bones. Our now 80# dog eats about 2 lbs per day of raw food.

An easy meal is a chicken leg quarter ($.79). Sometimes chicken drumsticks($.98/lb) plus some lean meat and an egg to get to about 1 lb per meal.

Sometimes she gets organs, beef, venison, rabbit, fish, or whatever we are cooking for ourselves.

Raw can be so easy and inexpensive and she is shiny, athletic, and well muscled and we get compliments on her all the time.

Thanks for covering this important topic, Kerry and Jen!

I don't grind. My dog loves raw on the bone and he is thriving. I feed a variety of chicken (wings, necks, thighs, hearts and feet), ground beef, and boneless pork chops. I prep a week or 2 worth of food once a week. I also give him a can of sardines in water (from Aldi's) a couple of times a week. Ive lost two dogs to cancer! Never again! My current dog is healthy. beautiful and thriving.

A vet nearby suggested Royal Canin. It’s manufactured by Nestlé so, no!

Hey Kerry, hey Jenn, love the video! Another great episode. Kerry I’ve been doing carnivore for my dog ever since I asked you about it a couple few months back.
Now about grinders, I couldn’t afford much, but I knew I wanted to grind leg quarters bone and all. I got a Sumile 1hp grinder for 67 dollars and it grinds it all up. I grind 30 pounds at a time and I bag it up in ziplock bags 1.25lbs a bag and freeze it.

Thank you so so much for sharing the details on how to feed dogs. We have been having all kinds of problems with our sweet 10 year old rat terrier! Lots of visits to the vet! He loves eggs so I either boil or fed him an egg every other day. He enjoys steak and chicken. So we will be transitioning to some raw. Love your videos. You allow the guest to share and I enjoy that. So glad I found your channel. We are starting Carnivores. Thanks for the encouragement.

I transitioned my dog to carnivore nearly two years ago after she'd been diagnosed with mast cell cancer, and had a surgery to remove a tumor. She's been doing great! No new tumors, body composition improved, lots of energy. I do cook her food, she had a bit of trouble eating raw, and I often feed her some of what I eat anyway, so going back and forth between raw and cooked caused some stomach upset. I did find pet food grind at my local butcher, who has beef organ grind, pork and lamb grind, plus chicken, turkey and other grinds. I also buy chicken livers and cook them for both of us! Chicken liver on a pat of butter: delicious! I sometimes share a cans of cod livers with their oil, and sardines in water, and canned salmon with skin and bones with her as well! Plus eggs, of course. She's 11 years old now!

Excellent!! I wish I would’ve known better 18 yrs ago! If I ever (I’m sure we will rescue again:) get anymore cats I’m definitely going to do this. It’s so much healthier for our pets!! I just had to send my 14 yr old cat to the rainbow bridge and I know his cancer was most likely from the crappy canned and dry food I’ve been feeding him 😢

Bought a 1.5 hp grinder from Costway and it grinds right through the bone. I am fortunate to have plenty of freezer space and shop the sales. I feed at least 4 different proteins with liver being 5 % of the total weight and a secreting organ for 5 %. Bone must be 10%. This isn’t difficult to do. My dogs are 20lbs each and I make 48 lb batches in a big tub and mix with my husbands drill. I will never go back to kibble.

No need to grid it unless your dog has dental issues. Been feeding my dog raw 11 years. He'll eat it frozen if I forget to thaw it.

Kerry, you’re in fox lake right now!! Coming to Visit my mother at the beginning of October from Tennessee. I’m going to hopefully catch a movie at your theater. Been carnivore for 3 months. Hopefully I get a chance to meet you.

I'm pretty sure my vet is a vegan. So she definitely wasn't thrilled to hear about the steak and eggs my dog loves.😂... 🥩🍳
