How to check if my iOS device is eSIM compatible and carrier unlocked?

Please follow these steps to check if your device is eSIM compatible and carrier unlocked

1. Go to 'Settings' on your device

2. Go to 'General'

3. Go to 'About'

4. Scroll down to view the 'Carrier lock' or 'Network Provider Lock' section.

If it states 'No SIM restrictions' it means that your device is unlocked.

5. Scroll down to view the "Digital SIM" section.

If it contains an 'IMEI' it means that the device is eSIM compatible.

If your device is unlocked and eSIM compatible, you can certainly start using eSIMs from Airalo!

Hi, my daughters iPhone X is unlocked. However it doesn’t have a “digital sim” section. However it does have an IMEI with numbers like the one on here. Was wondering if that makes it compatible.

hi, in Settings, General...is imei2 compatible? my iphone is unlocked and has an imei and imei2 number. please advise. (last time i used a different iphone with a different carrier - that is why i am posing the question as i would prefer to use the iphoen se3 this time
