How to check if my Android device is eSIM compatible?

To ensure that your device supports eSIM, you will need to locate its “eSIM IMEI” number by following these steps.

For Samsung Devices:

1. Go to 'Settings'

2. If you are able to access the search bar in your Settings type in 'IMEI', and the option 'IMEI information' (or similar) should show up

Otherwise, please go to:
'About phone', 'Status'

3. Tap 'IMEI information'

If the 'IMEI (eSIM)' is available, it should mean that your device supports eSIM.

For Other Android Devices:

Kindly note that every android device is built differently, and may not look exact to this screen recording.

1. Dial #06# and press call

2. If your device is eSIM capable you should be able to view your device’s eSIM unique identification number (EID) on this screen.

If your device is eSIM compatible, you can most certainly start using eSIMs from Airalo!

*eSIM support is only available in certain regions. Please contact your carrier or device manufacturer to confirm that your OnePlus device is eSIM-capable.

What does it mean? I can only use esim from airalo for certain countries only?

For example, it will only work for esim in America region only?

and when i travel and buy esim for other international countries it work work even I'm still using the same phone?

Hi Airalo Support Team, I can't see an EID identification in my Vivo V23 5G device. Just wanted to double-check that in this case, Vivo V23 5G is not eSim compatible. Thanks.

With the Pixel 3XL, if I don't see the unique identification number (EID) after dialing *#06# then that means it's not eSIM compatible?

my Motorola Edge 5G UW phone has MEID HEX and MEID DEC numbers and barcodes displayed after typing *#06 on phone. does this mean it is eSIM capable?
