I always loved Shadow. Everything about him just amazed me. His design, his personality, his strenght. But, his backstory. Made my heart sink. He lost one of his closest friends, and just memories of her traumatizes him. I know all villians don't cause chaos just for fun, they do it for a reason. And Shadow's reason for destruction and chaos in the games, really make me think that he deserves a second chance to be happy too.

Just off Shadow alone and his story Sonic 3 might be the most dark kids movie that's based off a video game. If they open Sonic 3 with Shadow's origin and Maria's death then that will immediately show Sonic 3 is gonna get serious and this ain't no happy, cheerful and funny movie like the first 2 stuff is gonna get serious and dark

Two childhood friends separated by the cruelty of humanity. Leaving only one of them alive in this world without her. To eventually seek revenge on every human that he thinks are to blame and destroy the world. Until he eventually learns that that was never what she wanted and she wanted them to befriend everyone on Earth not hurt them. Leaving him in tears to fix his mistake and to continue living in this world with her in his heart as a Hero.
There's a reason why Shadow is the very best character. Everything about him speaks to us and his awesome powers and design. This movie has the age up. The first movie came out in 2020 but not this time everybody back then it should be 4 years older. They could handle a little bit matureness.

Darkest part of the game to me was Gerald's doomsday message.

A still old man chained to a chair in a jail cell, stating his hatred for humanity and plan to destroy the world. Then footage turns red, as an off screen soldier asks him if he has anything else to say. When he says no, the last thing you hear is the soldier yelling 'READY!' before the video cuts out.

This back story is sick but pretty dark

Well, in Sonic movies every main characters (but tails) lose a loved one.
Sonic lost his mum.
Knuckles lost his dad.
Shadow lost his sister.
Those fluffy cute and colouful aliens have loneliness as one of their main traits. All of them.

I’m so happy u made a video about this! Shadow has always been my favourite character of the franchise and I was always really upset that people called him an edge lord. So now people finally understand his background and why he is the way he is. 😊

This makes me care a lot about the movie and make everyone understand the context and backstory of shadow so that he can take revenge but also keep her promise. I'm excited to see how this film turns out.

It’s never really touched on here or the lore much, but Maria had the mobius version of AIDS, which is called NIDS.

Gerald sought to cure Maria of this immune virus that was killing her. Shadow was as far as he got.

GUN then attacked and the rest is history.

One of the classic things of the story is that Gerald is straight up assassinated on camera. It’s a still, flickering GIF, but you can tell he’s in a firing line up.


Third movie has a lot of expectation riding on it, including his imprisonment on prison island.

shadow was dark and a rival to sonic but his past got even darker maybe is this why shadow was into injuring people?

That’s only part of the story Professer Robotnik teamed up with Black Doom to create shadow in order to speed up shadow process they used Dooms Blood note Doom over 2000 years old which was part of why Shadow become the strongest ultimate life form. Which Doom is returning the next sonic game. Shadow was supposed to kill every human to take over the world for that was Doom plan but Shadow memories of Maria is what made him go the right direction and not fall under Dooms hands and he killed Doom instead in the end.
