I think what people love about SA:2 and Shadow’s debut, is that it introduced a darker, more serious storytelling for the cast and their history that fans liked. Anyone notice the serous plot of Frontiers getting a great reception from the fans? The nod to the lore of the past decades was a great detail as well.
