FACT/S - Sonic 3 trailer is not for beginners! Here’s the lowdown on everything you might have missed in the Sonic 3 trailer. First up, we’ve got Shadow popping up with his classic backstory from Sonic Adventure 2. There’s this intense scene where he’s mourning Maria’s death, surrounded by G.U.N. agents. Pretty heavy stuff! And just like in Sonic Adventure 2, Shadow makes his grand entrance to battle Sonic, looming over him in a dark cityscape.
Oh, and guess what? We’re getting our first glimpse of Keanu Reeves as Shadow, and he totally nails it! Shadow’s even using Chaos Control to teleport during a fight – so does that hint at the Chaos Emeralds making their debut in this movie?
Also, we spot Tom in some serious trouble, decked out in a G.U.N. uniform. It’s looking like Shadow might be on a mission to take down the agency that took Maria’s life. With Shadow being such a powerhouse, the Sonic team will be joining forces with Dr. Robotnik, who’s fully embraced his Eggman persona with that iconic big belly and bald look.

I think what I really love about the trailer is that they referenced both Sonic adventure 2 and Shadow The Hedgehog as you see shadow teleporting and attacking team sonic just like he did with G.U.N agents in the intro of the shadow the hedgehog game 😁❤️
