This Is generally common, i have encountered comparative issues Like this, am a verizon user though, it's not just Verizon most Popular Carrier network typically do this to Their customers, I can suggest a Guy, who can help you, My Friends requested that I reach him cause he is Their Client customer specialist who help them with Their account, and His name is Tony, you can request that he Help You out.

Switched from Verizon above unlimited(4 years) to visible and can say after a few hiccups the first 2 days this is the best experience I’ve had with phone service in a long time. Getting almost the same speeds I had with post paid with the added benefit of unlimited hotspot instead of the 15GB cap. If you’re in an area with good Verizon coverage I’d recommend visible over Verizon. Paying more than $40 for phone service after visible just doesn’t make sense to me anymore.

You know the old saying, "if it's too good to be true, it probably is."

According to the provider "*In times of traffic, your data may be temporarily slower than other traffic." Well that sounds just like every other cell phone provider out there.

Will this work with the Netgear Nighthawk M1 hotspot? Seems like it would be a cheap way to get unlimited access with a great hotspot.

From Visible website...read the fine print at the bottom. Just like any other carrier. *In times of traffic, your data may be temporarily slower than other traffic.
**WiFi calling available on select devices.
+Mobile hotspot speeds capped at 5 Mbps and limited to one tethered device at a time.

Can this be used in a Netgear Nighthawk M1 or is it only for phones?

If one were to connect this to a computer, then share the internet connection with a router through a lan port, you could, theoretically, have a full fat internet connection for your home through a cell phone. Better and WAY cheaper than any sat based internet I know of.

I tried visible for a month.
It works great as long as you live near a tower.
where I live the best download I get at home is about 6Mbps down and 5Mbps up.
when I really want to use it from 5 pm to 10 pm i get about .3 Mbps down and .3 Mbps up
And that is with a cell signal booster that I purchased .
will totally depend on where you are.

Visible is 4G only! That means if you are in an area that has 3G coverage only you won’t have any reception. Works good if you don’t travel much.

House would I make this look like ethernet? I work customer service at home but in a small place, it is required to have wired connection.

What would you recommend for live streaming? I'm a streamer and will be moving to a place out of town in the autumn where Verizon jetpacks are usually used, but I use a ton of data for streaming 5x/week. Roughly 100GB/mo. Thoughts?

Wondering if I could use this in my 7730L JetPack Hotspot. I presently have Verizon Unlimited Prepaid Monthly no contract @ $70. Every little bit helps in retirement. Thanks for any info.

I have visible, but I looking to get another hotspot for work, since I am using my cell phone to talk to customers . What do you recommend?

Hello. Hotspot speeds are limited to 5Mbps:( Not a complaint). My question is if I cast to my firestick, it requires WiFi connection. So I use my hotspot wifi from my phone, cast from my phone. Do I cast @ full speed from my phone, or does it go through the hotspot data, thus slowing down to 5 Mbps? Apologies, not an easy question to ask, I hope I made myself clear.

Switched to Visible from Straight Talk because I wanted a hot spot. The switch was easy, ported number with no problems. Overall, it served the purpose and the hot spot worked great BUT, though I have no complaints about the service overall, I took a road trip with this traveling from the mid-west to PA and I experienced several occasions with no service. Even in the city I live in (large metro area) I experience no service problems. I had Straight Talk for years and only had a no service related problem once. I have decided that this is too much of a problem and am switching back to Straight Talk, especially now that they have a plan with a hot spot. It does cost more but the service is better for my needs.

It’s good to see when they say they cap hotspot speeds to 5 mbps, there is no cap for hotspot speeds in this test.

Doesn't actually work like that, I have had visible and I was throttled
