I think it is a bug, since other "through the wall" abilities can't reach the spawn from that angle (e.g., Bard E, Zeri E, Zoe E)

I have a feeling that everytimes they release something that interacts in ANY way with terrain comes with some kind of bug. Even flash and wards have strange interactions with terrain. I will never forget Viego crashing the game with his mist on Anivia's wall

Well, that's a VERY specific condition. Definitely possible to do in the real game, but extremely unlikely to happen if the opponent is aware of this.
But if he doesn't, then a trip to the fountain should guarantee a kill.

I'm wondering if people started to abuse this mechanic by combining K'Sante with Skarner ults to put people in that exact spot. That would be a hilarious gimmick, but understandably broken by the real definition of the word. I love it for normals/aram, but understandably you can't have this happen in competitive games. Not that I expect this to be viable at highest levels of play, it would still be something you had to constantly play around and make sure you're never near that spot with those champs in game.
