The Skins Riot Games Will Never Sell Again | League of Legends

League of Legends popularized the practice of giving you a free game and then later making money by selling you skins. Specifically non "Pay to win" skins. However, some of these skins are now over 15 years old. Making them rare and exclusively sought after. Although for most of these skins, if you don't already own them, you will never be able to obtain them in your account now.
Today we're looking at some of the rarest skins in League that are no longer obtainable.

I'm one of the older players that got Riot Tristana and Unchained Alistair for free, but I didn't even realize they were rare until seeing a video like this a few years back.

It's worth mentioning that, if i recall correctly, Dreadknight Garen was never available for free on the LATAM servers, The free garen skin was actually Garen Commando!, same method to obtain it

Riot girl Tristana is still in the shop. It moved from skins to champion bundle.

While it was in 2018, I got dreadnight garen along with riot tristana when I submitted a ticket to riot support saying the codes for those skins didn’t work. The support guy just added the skin to my account.

I got the Riot Girl Tristana last 2019 from Garena when they celebrated the 10th Anniversary of league though...

Early hextech chests had some of these skins in their pool. I rolled silver kayle at some point and tripple checked, because i was so suprised (and super disapointed, since its only a "silver default chroma"). But this skin disapeared from my profile withing a year, so i think it was a more likely a bug or some other kind of mistake. At some point i saw the ufo corki from the hextech chest too, but i dont if that was a the same case or fake.

i am glad my friends who introduced me to lol showed me how to get the tristana and garen skins, who would knew they would be considered rare. i wonder if that one twitch skin would fit the video
