I love Riot August so much. He's always transparent, never shits on the people asking him questions or complaining to him (from what I've seen), and explains his game design decisions in ways that are easy to understand for average LoL players. It feels much more like he's having a dialogue with the community and explaining why he thinks thing should be a certain way while being open to critique and questions, instead of him lecturing everyone else on why he's right and they're wrong.

Am not even a velkoz main or anything but i do agree that the champ sucks and its visible even when you play against it.Velkoz is at best a slight inconvinince regardless of what champ i happen to play and most of the time i see him as a free kill. Imo the champ is still good situationally so in my eyes Velkoz needs quality of life change much more than straight number buffs, Velkoz doesnt have a damage problem he has a "i can never reliably do damage" problem .

Obviously one dev can't have all the winrates in his head, especially in a changing game like league. Its pretty good that they look it up and then decide with the data at hand. Good dev, good way of working on the game.
