I appreciate your videos and time you take to make these well informed and educational videos. As the games made to be sold not told you sir are an exceptional game changer. There's 1 more reason these vehicles tend to over heat I've just learned through replacing every component to the cooling system. A clogged or damaged oil cooler, as the cooler in most of these vehicles is part of the AC condenser. It is before the radiator and transfers heat to the radiator at the top. The 07 jeep compass I've been in a fist fight with has a overheating issue that's been hard to diagnose. Mostly due to me being an older car technician 70s-90s. These newer vehicles have way too much overthinking put into them and parts that are made from inferior materials. Such as plastics, aluminum and metals. Plastic cools down faster than aluminum. And aluminum cools faster than metals, which will cause the softer materials to fail. Not to mention the abundance of sensors and relays giving information to the brain of the vehicle. These items are why they make more parts than cars. I call it; Set up for failure, and ; Break the bank syndrome. Thanks again

Another common reason is cooling fan wire harness may have a short or bad connection, easy to overlook.

The pressure on my radiator hose makes it loosen so I slowly lose coolant over the course of weeks to a month.

Is it the same way for a diesel engine? I was told I have a blown head gasket because upper and lower radiator hose tight. It doesn't overheat. It has no mixture of oil and coolant. I have no white smoke. I'm confused. Please advise.

To make your cooling system last long, use rainwater. Avoid coolant, it damages the radiator, hose, and water pump. I have no problem with my car's cooling system for almost a decade since i stopped using coolant .
