I was taught to go behind on a inside pitch and forward on a out side pitch

Or do what I do that works ever time. Righty in the box you slide forward and sidearm it around the batter to third

I know it’s not the right way to do it but I have found success by just going over the batters because of how high of a arm slot I have when I release

When it is an outside pitch I like leaning forward and throw at a low 3/4 arm slot. Just be sure to throw more left than normal cause it’ll go low and right.
