It's so important to speak truth to the atrocities committed by the colonizers. Books are being banned to prevent future generations from learning the truth, why, because it may hurt their feelings. Indigenous people must be able to tell their stories and the stories of other Indigenous people about what they suffered AND continue to suffer.
