Did you know that the Hawaiian Kingdom was one of the first countries in the world to have universal male suffrage? Established in 1840, Hawaii's constitution granted voting rights to all male citizens, regardless of their wealth or property, long before many Western nations adopted similar practices.

I truly feel down to my bones that the reason I wasn't taught this in public schools, is so I wouldn't question Congress, and state/ local government as much as the President. Which we all really should do more often. As boring as it may be to listen to these nominee hearings

Its worse than in this video. My dad is native and has a whole documented journal from our ancestors writing about how our lands were brutally stolen, our people were imprisoned, r*ped, and executed for trying to speak out or preserve the culture and olelo hawai'i

Cleveland even warned McKinley to not annex Hawai’i when he was about to transition. Cleveland was friends with Queen Liliuokalani and respected Hawai’i as a sovereign nation. But of course McKinley followed the corporate interests. Princess Kaiulani did an international campaign to prevent this as well but sadly it wasn’t successful.

Correction, the Hawaiian Kingdom was NEVER officially OR legally annexed by the US. There is no treaty of annexation wherein we relinquished our sovereignty to the US. They claim to have annexed us via a joint resolution, but a joint resolution is simply a domestic congressional act, it has no power or jurisdiction beyond the borders of the US and cannot be used to annex a foreign country. If Congress could simply declare a country theirs, they would do so with literally every country in the world and vice versa other countries would simply declare the US theirs as well.
The Hawaiian Kingdom continues to exist as a sovereign country, albeit under an unprecedented, prolonged, 131 years and counting, belligerent, military OCCUPATION by the U.S. & the international community is starting to take notice of this.
The US has been committing w^% cr^%es in the Hawaiian Kingdom all of this time, including but not limited to Article 49 of the fourth Geneva Convention which states:
_”The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies …”_ … that means American civilians are not allowed to so much as set foot in the Hawaiian Kingdom.
There is no statute of limitations on w%^ cr^%es, so heartless American sentiments like “get over it, it was a long time ago”, (which Americans frequently tell us) are irrelevant.

If only the Bishop Estate wasn’t corrupt. I believe that the $20, 000, 000, 000 they have, along with state govt funds, is more than enough to actually right this wrong and leave the US. Even though I’m hapa haole through my father, I will never consider myself American. My ancestors were slaves to the Royals long ago. I am Hawaiian or Kanaka Maoli, however you want to phrase it, and the US govt and their conditions don’t mean a damn thing to me. I’d happily be a slave if it meant that we still had our kingdom. Aloha au iā ‘oe e Hawai’i…Until we meet again.

So called King Kamehameha attacked Oahu with cannon obtained from Captain Cooks ship. They call it "unifying" the Islands now. The Koreans run most of everything and the building department is bought off so lots of buildings built are built without inspections.

Hawaii is not even a kingdom. Man is one of the smallest countries in the world that was thriving that well

Before you shed tears, Hawaiians were war like and attacked other Polynesian people. Dont blame the winners when you're warriors.
