I don't think this shows that she felt bad for Sansa. It just shows how much she hates Tyrion.

Cersei empathizing even a little is somehow stranger than ice monsters and fire-breathing lizards.

This is more insulting Tyrion than feeling bad for Sansa.

She’s only 12 here. Which is pretty heartbreaking … I think people also forget that tyrion still orders her to undress even though he recognises she’s “still a child” but “he wants her” and when he asks sansa if that frightens her, she says “yes.” It’s not until he’s on top of her and groping her breasts that he realises how terrified she is, so he stops. - I’m glad the show dialled it down and made tyrion a lot more noble in that regard.

Little did Cersie know that "The Imp" was much better than her "Golden boy".

The way she felt bad for her when Tyrion was the only one who was kind to her 💀

She wasn't empathising with her. Instead, she was gas-lighting against her would-be husband.

It's kind of ironic that Tywin was planning on doing the same to Cersei and you know she would have had a fit. It does make Cersei interesting considering how she didn't try to lie or soften the reality of Sansa's situation and status as a woman.

I feel she was rather dragging Sansa down and making fun of her misery. The show made Cersei a little more complex because she seemed to genuinely empathise with Sansa when she was to marry Joffrey.

After her father's death there were exactly two people who sincerely tried to help her, Sandor and Tyrion. She feared the first and loathed the second.

Meanwhile Tyrion treating Sansa with utmost care, respect and protectivness possible. He was amazing to her, probably the best arranged marriage you could get

I wish they would have shown the moment of her trying to resist and maybe her saying to herself to be brave because she was a Stark! Since obviously we don’t hear characters thoughts lol. It’s such a small detail but I think it speaks so much.

Remember Cersei’s “P-envy” she pities Sansa, not just empathizes. And that one deuche is just telling her “Do what your told and don’t make a fuss” remember what Viserys I said in HotD, “Not even I can refuse the customs of tradition” everyone just plays their parts as either gears or machines.

What you're quoting is more like rubbing it in than feeling bad for her.

The marriage of Sansa and Tyrion is totally different from books to show.
In the book Tyrion tried to bed Sansa even climbing on top of her being already naked and ready to take her only retreating in the ladt moment. And he described as a reallly ugly person in the books not even comparable to handdome Peter Dinklage.

I wonder what would have happened if Sansa had chosen to marry Lancel? I think both would have been happier.

This scene of Sansa trying to run is analogous to when Cersei tries to run when she is arrested.

Better the loathsome imp than Cersi's serial killer son.

She didnt felt bad at all, she just try to put salt on the wound
And this is probably the most stupid plan Tywin ever had, the lords of the North will never accet Tyrion as lord
